Soul Xchange is the newest project of Frederick music scene veterans Neil Durr (guitar and lead vocals), Evan Durr (bass guitar and backing vocals), Andrew Kuhens (guitar and backing vocals), and Eric Calhoun (drums and vocals.) You may know them from some of their other myriad projects-Joint Effort, Mary-eL, Katie Powderly & The Unconditional Lovers, The Altered States of America, and more. But in this case, Neil Durr steps from the sidelines to the limelight, showcasing his talents as both guitar player, singer, and bandleader.

They play an eclectic mix of soul, jazz, funk, blues, improvised jams, with hints of rock and reggae. This band definitely knows how to get the energy pumping in a room and how to get folks out on the dance floor.
