Joint Effort REUNION (Hip-Hop Rock Fusion w/ sessions of improvised jams)

Joint Effort is (was?) a hip-hop rock fusion band based out of Maryland, mixing the lyrical rhythms of Poetic Endurance (P.E., lyricist) to blues riffs with intricate drum and bass rhythms. Their live performance appeal creates an unmistakable energy that can get any venue bobbing their heads, up out of their seats, and onto the dance floor.

Neil Durr (Guitar/Vocalist) and Evan Durr (Bassist) grew up in a musically enriched household and mastered several instruments (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard) at early ages. Because they have played together since childhood, they have always had a musical chemistry that is unparalleled. As friends in high school, the Durr brothers had known Poetic Endurance for over 5 years before they finally put their mutual affinity for music together to create the Joint Effort. The project wasn’t complete until the addition of veteran drummer Kevin Szarnicki. Kevin brings a solid rhythmic presence to the table with 10+ years playing in original rock, punk, hardcore, and metal bands. This in addition to studio recording for various projects.

Joint Effort took an indefinite hiatus in 2014 when lyricist Poetic Endurance moved to California. However, there is a one night reunion planned at their old stomping ground, Cafe Nola. Do not miss this. Doors 9:30 | Music 10. 21 and up.
