Founded by seasoned members of the Baltimore, MD music scene, Squaring The Circle has set out to breathe new life into classic funk and jazz along with writing original material that pushes the boundaries and brings these genres into a contemporary light.

Carl Dougherty (Freedom Enterprise), Dan Kutcher (Lake Trout), Tyler Facinoli (Sol Frequency), and Nathan Shulkin (Sol Frequency) started this journey in December 2014 by immediately finding challenging music and creating definitive medleys featuring some of their favorite tunes. As they grew more comfortable with each others musical voice, Carl began to introduce original material that the band attacked with fervor in order to bring it to their high expectations.

2015 is simply the beginning of Squaring The Circle's long dance into the regions musical scene.
